OM Sportslink

OM Sportslink has partnered with Bophelong Sports Club in order to bring even more sports development to the community of Diepsloot. Together, we will delightfully engage with prospective sports leaders to train, equip and mobilize these sports leaders. They will go into all aspects of the Diepsloot and surrounding communities to freely invite children and youth to participate in various sports as a means of contributing to healthy lifestyles. We seek to find prospective sports leaders from all walks of life, including school teachers, community leaders, mature teenagers; in fact anyone who would like to provide sporting opportunities to our youth.

Chris Welman has vast experience in sports leadership training, having worked in Sports Ministry for some 12 years; six of which were spent coaching in Wales, UK. Chris’ passion; which he shares with Nigel, is to influence sports leaders to transform their communities.

Nigel Keur is originally from Cape Town and has played football from a very early age. Nigel has worked in the engineering department of the OM Doulos for a couple of years where he developed a love for sports co-ordination. This love lead him to work in this field in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Nigel has returned home in order to apply his passion in his native land of South Africa.
