BSC was privileged to receive the GIFT of a big screen TV to the value of R560,000. This was a cooperation between the Bryanston Methodist Church who sponsored the TV and Township TV who provided the TV at cost price and facilitated the installation of the TV. Furthermore Township TV has sponsored the running costs and insurance for 2010 and 2011.

During the Soccer World Cup, folk from Diepsloot came to view the FIFA World Cup matches in their thousands. A junior soccer tournament was held during this time where children and youth enjoyed the "beautiful game". Children were treated to games, puppet shows, movies and snacks during this period. Life World Outreach provided praise and worship opportunities each day while Impact Africa and Teen Mania arranged for 65 teenaged volunteers visited from the USA to assist with the daily arrangements.
